Brian is a native of Evening Shade, Arkansas, moving to Mena in 2009 to realize his dream of owning and operating his own funeral home. He is a 2000 graduate of Arkansas State University Mountain Home where he attended mortuary college. Brian is married to Stacey Bowser and they have 3 children, Luke, Ashten and Matthew Bowser. Brian and Stacey are members of the First Baptist Church in Mena.
He began his career in funeral service in 1995, in Cave City, Arkansas and has worked in funeral service for over 25 years. Brian is an Arkansas and Oklahoma licensed funeral director and embalmer and known for his embalming abilities and his people skills. He has worked in every aspect of funeral service.
Brian enjoys spending time with his family, going to auctions and traveling.
Stacey is a native of Cave City, Arkansas, moving to Mena in 2009 to help realize her husband, Brian’s dream of owning and operating their family-owned funeral home. She is a graduate of Baptist Health Nursing College and received her Registered Nursing Degree in 1994. Stacey works at Mena Regional Health System and is also a Licensed Funeral Director. She is the proud mother of Luke, Ashten and Matthew. She loves working in her yard and flower beds, being with friends and traveling.
Matthew is a native of Mena, Arkansas, and graduated from Mena High School in 2019. Matthew has decided to join his family's business and carry on the tradition of serving families. In August 2022, Matthew will be attending the University of Central Oklahoma in Edmond, Oklahoma to achieve his Mortuary Science Degree. Matthew loves hanging out with his friends and going hunting and fishing.
Garrett Lundberg is a native of Gillham, Arkansas, and graduated from Wickes High School in 2007. He began his funeral service career in 2017 while attending the Commonwealth Institute of Funeral Service in Houston, Texas, and is a Licensed Funeral Director and Embalmer. Garrett is a member of the First Presbyterian Church in Mena.
Funeral Assistant / Visitation Host
Stokes Herod has been a businessman in Mena for over 40 years where he owned and operated Herod Department Store on Mena Street with his wife, Linda. He has served as a Licensed Funeral Director in the past and helps with visitations and funerals. Stokes is a staple in Mena and we are very happy to have him as part of our staff.
Beverly Ramsey was born and raised in Paris, Texas. She married her husband, Grady, in 1991 and they moved to New Potter in 1997 and have lived here happily ever since. Beverly has worked in Mena for over 20 years and has made many friends in the community. In her free time, she loves every moment that she spends with her husband, son, daughter-in-law, and a precious grandson.

Dee Findell has worked part time for Bowser Family Funeral Home for 5 years and helps with office duties.
In Memoriam
Pat Granny Eden, age 82 of Mena, moved from her earthly home to her new home in Heaven on Saturday, October 25, 2014 in Mena. She was born on Wednesday, April 20, 1932 to Mack C. and Mary Rhoden Travis in Huntington, West Virginia.
Pat had a servants heart; either at church, with family or friends and her workplace. She was a member of the First Freewill Baptist Church in Mena for many years and served her Lord with all her heart. She loved her family very much and enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren. In her early years Pat was an LPN in Louisiana and later moved to Mena where her beloved Fred was a minister of the Gospel and ministers wife. She later started working at Wal-Mart and retired after many years. After Wal-Mart, she found a place at Hall Funeral Service and later with Bowser Family Funeral Home where she could minister to families in their time of need. In 2012, she retired from working at age 80. She was a loving mother, grandmother, sister and friend and will be missed by all who knew her.
Pat is preceded in death by her husband, Fred Lee Eden; three brothers; six sisters and one great grandchild, Fred Isaac Sprague.
Survivors include her sons and daughters in law Michael and Cordia Sprague of Mena and Will and Vickie Sprague of Black Springs; her daughters and sons in law, Chrystal and Minis Rowe of Huntington, West Virginia and Shelia and Pete of Huntington, West Virginia; one sister, Elizabeth Perry of Clearwater, Florida; ten grandchildren, Travis Sprague and wife, Rebecca of Mena, Jennifer Asbury and husband, Blair of Huntington, West Virginia, Lisa Bowen of Huntington, West Virginia, Barbara Sprague of New Orleans, Louisiana, Dana Long and husband, Mike of Mena, Jennifer Kanak and husband Jason of Lowell, Arkansas, Rachel Adkins of Huntington, West Virginia, Pam Moore of St. Albans West Virginia, John LeMaster of Georgia and Jason LeMaster of Huntington, West Virginia; twenty-six great grandchildren; two very special friends, M.L. Keeney and family of Cove and Betty Bishop of Louisiana; several nieces and nephews and a host of other relatives and friends.
Funeral services will be held Tuesday, October 28, 2014 at 10:00 A.M. at the Bowser Family Funeral Home Chapel with Brother Donnie Jewell, Brother Larry Davis and Jerry Jeffcoat officiating. Interment will follow in the Pinecrest Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be Monday, October 27, 2014 from 5-7 P.M. at the Bowser Family Funeral Home Chapel in Mena.
Pallbearers will be Michael Sprague, Travis Sprague, Minis Rowe, Bobby Thacker, Espye Magar and Tim Smedley.
Honorary Pallbearers will be Chip Bentley, Chris Gann, Kenney Romine, Troy Denton and Donnie Barrett.
