Wilma Veral (Williams) Jackson was born February 25, 1932 at Harris, OK the daughter of Elmer and Lucille (Powell) Williams. She lived in the Glover and Wright City area most of her life. She departed this life on July 14, 2014 at the age of 82 years. She married Virgil L. (Jobe) Jackson in DeQueen, AR on January 30, 1950. She was the mother of Bobby Wayne, Les, Shirley and Frank. She was a homemaker most of her life, she was a great mother and a great grandmother. She enjoyed gardening, cooking for her family and attending church singings. She was of the Baptist faith. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Virgil L. (Jobe) Jackson of fifty one years; her son, Bobby Wayne; three sisters and five brothers. Wilma leaves to cherish her memory, sons, Les Jackson and wife, Melody of Millerton, OK, Frank Jackson and wife, Barbara of Wright City, OK; daughter Shirley (Pete) Prince and husband, Wayne of Valliant, OK; eight grandchildren; twenty seven great-grandchildren and a host of nieces, nephews and friends; two nieces who were thought of as sisters, Robbie Brown and Earnestine Horton.Cemetery:Glover Cemetery \nTo send flowers to the family or plant a tree in memory of Wilma Jackson, please visit our floral store.
