William married Quay Gibson, June 19, 1961 at Hugo, OK. He was a member of St. John Presbyterian Church, Rufe, OK. He retired from Dierks Lumber Company and Weyerhaeuser after 39 ' years of service. He served his country in the U.S. Army National Guard. He liked to travel to various states for church meetings, was devoted to his church, loved to go fishing, camping activities and giving rides in his boat. He loved spending time with family and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents, three brothers, Johnny L. Myers, Sr., Gilbert H. Myers, and infant brother, Gordon Myers; baby sister, Kathy L. Myers and son, Baby Boy Myers.William leaves to cherish his memory his wife, Quay Myers of the home; aunt, Ella F. Dorsey, Choctaw, OK; four sons, Orlando S. Gibson, Wright City, Audie D. Gibson, Wright City, William Myers, Jr., Milburn, OK and Dorsey B. Myers, Helena, OK; two daughters, Greta M. Myers, Hugo, OK and Dawn R. Walls, Idabel, OK; eighteen grandchildren; eleven great-grandchildren and a host of friends. Funeral Services will be at 2:00 p.m., Monday, January 19, 2009, St. John Presbyterian Church, Rufe, OK. Interment will follow at St. John Presbyterian Cemetery, Rufe, OK.
