Willia Dean (Passmore) Watson, 71, of the Goodwater Community, passed away Friday October 7, 2011 at her home. The daughter of William Smith and Gladys (Dean) Passmore, Willia was born on July 29, 1940 in Broken Bow, Oklahoma. On August 8, 1959, Willia and Hoyt Watson were united in marriage in Hugo, Oklahoma. She was a member of Trinity Baptist Church in Idabel and a lifetime resident of McCurtain County. Willia was a homemaker and enjoyed playing assorted games and reading. She adored her family, especially her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She was a wonderful mother, grandmother, sister and friend and will be remembered most for her great sense of humor and ability to pull a prank. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Hoyt Watson; one son, Mark Watson; two sons-in-law, Eddie Keeton and Mac McAvoy; two brothers, JW Passmore and Bobby Ray Passmore; two sisters, Rosie Elizabeth and Ruby Faye Laster. Willia is survived by one son, Jerry Lynn Watson of Carson City, Nevada; two daughters, Gladys Dunigan and her husband, Troy, of Goodwater, Penny McAvoy and her friend, Danny Wylie, of Goodwater; one brother, William Smith Passmore Jr. and his wife, Brenda, of Broken Bow; one sister, Ann Barrick and her husband, James, of Broken Bow; sister-in-law, Barbara Passmore of Idabel; six grandchildren, Tony Watson, Glen Watson, Justin Bullock, Micah Dunigan, Tory Dunigan and Deena McAvoy; two step-grandchildren, Tamra Dunigan and Tara Dunigan; four great-grandchildren, Dakota McAvoy, Feera Watson, Victoria Watson and Hailey Watson; many nephews, nieces, other family members and friends. The family will be gathering at the Passmore home place before and after the services.Cemetery:A private inurnment will follow at a later date.Service:A memorial service will be held at 10:00 a.m., Tuesday, October 11, 2011 at the Brumley Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. Randy Watkins officiating.
