She enjoyed crocheting and reading. She also liked flowers and baseball and her grandchildren were her life.Willa married Henry F. Prater, July 8, 1950, in Florence, AZ. They were married fifty five years.She was preceded in death by her mother, Mary Ann Bruton Hodges; her grandma and grandpa Hodges; two sisters, and one son-in-law, Gary Tomek.She is survived by her husband, Henry Prater and their three daughters, Brenda and Leon McCain, Sharon Tomek, Peggy and Chris Wood, all of Broken Bow; four grandchildren, Mandy Avery, Chesapeake, VA, Royce McCain, Clint Wood, and Justin Wood, all of Broken Bow, OK; one great-grandson, Christian Avery, Chesapeake, VA; three sisters, Francis Cymbalisty, California, Margaret Vanscoder, AR, and Judy Burwell, CA; one aunt, Addie Turner, Corpus Christi, TX; several nieces, nephews, and a host of friends.Services will be at 2:00 p.m., Saturday, October 22, 2005, at the Lukfata Baptist Church, Broken Bow. Burial will follow at the Broken Bow Cemetery. Bro. Paul Puckett and Bro.
