W.L. Thomas Jr., of Oak Hill Community, passed away October 30, 2012 at his home in Oak Hill. He was born September 11, 1935 in Honey Grove, OK the son of William Lonnie and Lillian (Stout) Thomas. W.L. and Nona (Johnson) Thomas celebrated their 56th wedding anniversary this past August 18. W.L. was a wrecker driver and garage owner and operator for 35 years. He was an avid bowler and had bowled throughout the country. W.L. loved his kids, grandkids, great-grandkids and his dog "Buddy" He was preceded in death by his parents, four brothers and two sisters. W.L. leaves to cherish his memory, wife, Nona (Johnson) Thomas of the home; two daughters, Debbie Westbrook and husband, Wendell of Broken Bow, Brenda McGee and husband, Jeff of Sachse, TX; four grandchildren, Jena and Karl Nelson of Edmond, OK, Ryan and Carrie Westbrook of Garvin, OK, Erin and Matt Cook of Allen, TX and Ty McGee of Sachse, TX; five great-grandchildren, Layndon Strawn, Blaken Strawn, Rafe Nelson, Makenlyn Westbrook and Linnea Nelson;several nieces, nephews and a host of friends.Cemetery:Interment will follow in Watson Memorial Cemetery at Oak Hill. \nTo send flowers to the family or plant a tree in memory of W.L.
