Virginia graduated from Idabel High School in 1955 and Southeastern Oklahoma State College in 1959 with a B.S. in Education. She taught school in Hobbs, New Mexico and Valliant, OK until her retirement. She was a member of South Bethel Missionary Baptist Church, an avid race fan, enjoyed Lee Greenwood concerts and loved her miniature toy poodle Chrissy.She was preceded in death by her parents, Grady and Dotha Black and one brother, Bob Black.She leaves to cherish her memory one son, Randall Ray Black and wife Lea Ann, Idabel; sister, Deborah Bell and husband Doug, Farmersville, TX.; seven grandchildren, Chase Michael Black, Matthew Payton Black, Daryl Dene Black, James Camden Martin, Marielle Blaine Martin, Evan Christopher Martin and Chelsea Nicole Green. Services will be at 2 p.m. Saturday, May 6, 2006, at Brumley Funeral Home Chapel, Idabel.
