Troy Wayne Evans and Vera Yvonne Wilmoth were united in marriage on December 17, 1955. He was a 32nd degree Mason and of the Baptist faith. Troy was a veteran and served his country in the US Marine Corp as a Corporal. He was a retired truck owner and operator. Troy enjoyed camping, fishing and cross country truck driving.He was preceded in death by his parents, Steven and Willie Evans; two sisters, Cathrine and Marilyn; one brother, Frank; granddaughter, Rita Brantley and one son-in-law, Kevin Monroe.He leaves to cherish his memory his beloved wife of fifty-one years, Yvonne Evans, of the home; three sons, Rodney Evans and wife Judy, Broken Bow, Roy Evans, Broken Bow, Randy Evans and wife Jackie, Garvin; three daughters, Rhonda Brantley, Eagletown, Ranelda Colson and husband Kenneth, Broken Bow, Robin Monroe and husband Darin Shupert, Idabel; sixteen grandchildren, Randall Brantley, Lee Evans and wife Shawna, Kendall Colson and wife Ashley, Heather Parker and husband Kody, Megan Harder and husband Aaron, Dustin Colson, Lisa Williams and husband Luke, Daniel Brantley and wife Kayla, Samantha Evans, Bradley Monroe, Blake Evans, Summer Evans, MacKenzie Evans, Nicole Evans, Braxton and Padon; eleven great-grandchildren, Koty Evans, Addison Williams, Shalee, Kaitlyn, Cameron, Haylie and Rowdy Brantley, Jessie and Ramie Colson, Tyler and Andrew Dillard; and his faithful pet, Simon.Services will be held at 2:00 pm, Sunday, October 21, 2007, at the First Assembly of God, Broken Bow. Rev. Melvin Gibson will officiate.
