Tristan Noel Camp, 25 of Broken Bow, passed away Friday, January 3, 2014 at St. John?s Hospital, in Tulsa, Oklahoma. She was born at Idabel on June 21, 1988, the daughter of Jim and Rhonda Bray Camp. Tristan was a lover of life and of music. She enjoyed concerts and listening to bands. She loved to sing, especially singing specials at church. She loved to dance, draw and write. Her advanced English teacher mentioned what beautiful writings she had in her class. Tristan was a part of the Upward Bound Program at EOSC at Wilburton for 4 years. She had been a full time student at Southeastern Oklahoma State University, Idabel Campus where she was pursing a degree in Computer Science. She had dreams of working with the FBI in forensics. Her favorite quote was "Happiness is a butterfly, which when pursued, is always just beyond your grasp, but which, if you will sit down quietly, may alight upon you" by Nathaniel Hawthorne. She always had a big smile and even though she was small, she was mighty! She was very proud of her Irish heritage and was often referred to as a "little leprechaun". She loved pink and penguins. She loved being her own self. While the rest of the family preferred OU, she preferred OSU and collected OSU memorabilia just to be different. She was truly a good girl and referred to herself in the last several years as "God?s Miracle".
