Tommie Stafford Obituary (1917 - 2013)

Tommie (Buddy) Stafford, 95, passed away Saturday, April 13, 2013 at his home in Eagletown, OK. Tommie was born August 25, 1917 in DeKalb, TX the son of Percy and Corean (Laney) Stafford. In 1946 he married his partner for life, Rozena Warner in DeQueen, AR. He was a former deacon at the St. Matthew Church in Eagletown before joining St. Paul Presbyterian Church in April, 2010, and he was a member of the DeQueen Masonic Lodge. He enjoyed fishing, hunting, gardening and reading his Bible and other books. He was preceded in death by his parents: his wife, Rozena; one son, Terry Lynn Stafford; one granddaughter, Chrissy Ann Stafford; one great-grandson, Caleb Hunt. Tommie leaves to cherish his memory, his children, Christine and James Williamson, Foreman, AR, Clara Mae Williams, Columbus, MS, Dorothy Fellows, Ozan, AR, Johnnie Lou Stafford, Eagletown, OK, Tommie and Daisy Stafford, Tom, OK, Emmitt and Mary Stafford, Eagletown, OK and Gloria Hunt, Eagletown, OK; he also leaves to continue his legacy eighteen grandchildren; thirty three great-grandchildren; five great-great-grandchildren and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.Cemetery:Busy Bee Cemetery, Eagletown, OK To send flowers to the family or plant a tree in memory of Tommie Stafford, please visit our floral store.
