Thad McFarland Obituary (1922 - 2013)

Thad McFarland 90 passed away January 20, 2013 at McCurtain Manor in Broken Bow, OK. He was born September 16, 1922 in Eagletown, OK the son of Jim H. and Margaret (Wright) McFarland. He was preceded in death by his parents, wife, Margaret, and son, Ted McFarland. Thad was a proud grandfather and loved his children. He was a member of Charity Baptist Church in Broken Bow. Thad enjoyed traveling, fishing, hunting and getting together with his Navy SeaBee friends. Thad is survived by one son, Robert Peavy of Broken Bow; one daughter, Jan Brown of Eagletown; eight grandchildren including, Sherri and Heather; nine great-grandchildren including, Caden and Bailye and a host of friends.
