He was a member of the Central Baptist Church in Idabel, OK. He served his country in the United States Navy. Stiles retired from Piggly Wiggly where he was employed as the butcher for 58 years. He loved going to the Idabel Nutrition Center, visiting with his many friends. He loved his grandchildren and great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents, wife, Effie Mabry in October 2006, son, Larry Mabry; three brothers, Lewie, William and Claude Mabry; one sister, Star Gray.Stiles leaves to cherish his memory his daughter, Mary Lou Bascle and husband Roland, Broken Bow, OK; four grandsons Chris Powers and wife Sandy, Bartlesville, OK, Bryan Mabry and wife Lindsey, FL, Tony Bascle, Broken Bow, OK and Josh Mabry , Topeka, KS; five great-grandchildren, Shayla Powers, Idabel, OK, Banks Powers, Bartlesville, OK, Eli, Noah and Jonah Mabry all of FL; one brother, Howard Mabry, Jr. and wife Dot, Mesquite, TX; two sisters, Gladys McGuire, Clarksville, TX and Marquerite Hilliard, Bridge Port, TX; one sister-in-law, Virginia Ganner, Ft. Worth, TX; many nieces, nephews, cousins and a host of other friends and church family.Services will be 10:00 a.m., Thursday, May 28, 2009, at the Central Baptist Church, Idabel, OK. Bro. Greg Matlock will officiate. Bro. Randy Watkins will assist.
