Steve Due 71, of Eagletown, Oklahoma, passed away December 26, 2012 at Dubuis Hospital of Texarkana, TX. He was born December 29, 1940 in Eagletown, OK, the son of Richard Austin and Beatrice Lillian (Warford) Due. He was preceded in death by his parents and brother, Melbern Austin Due. Steve graduated from Eagletown High School and received his B.S. at the University of Texas at El Paso. He served his country in the United States Air Force and had worked on the Alaska Pipeline and enjoyed living in Alaska. He owned and operated a TV repair shop for several years in Broken Bow. He was an avid genealogist, conservationist and enjoyed crystal hunting. Steve loved his family and many friends. Steve is survived by his nephew, William R. Due and wife Pam of Cleveland, OH; two nieces, Lisa R. Gates and husband David of Newcastle, OK, Melanie Elaine Broadway of Yukon, OK; numerous cousins, great-nieces and great-nephews and a host of friends. A Memorial Service will be held at 2 PM Saturday, January 5, 2013 at Brumley Funeral Home Chapel.
