Sarah Vanessa McGough

Sarah Vanessa McGough, 38, of Wright City passed away Wednesday, May 23, 2012 at her home in Wright City. The daughter of Thomas Downing and Janet Gibson Lafferty, Sarah was born July 12, 1973 in Preston, England. She was preceded in death by her father Thomas Downing, grandparents Janet and William Lafferty, Thomas and Edna Downing and stepfather, Allen Turner. Sarah enjoyed cooking, traveling, reading with her son Billy and chatting with her many friends on Facebook. She leaves to cherish her memory her husband, James "Jim" McGough of the home; mother, Jenny Lafferty of Gourock, Scotland; one son, James William "Billy" McGough; two daughters, Alanna J. McGough and Rebecca L. McGough all of the home; one brother Tom Surga of Darby, England and a host of other relatives and friends. Funeral Services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Monday, May 28, 2012 at the First Baptist Church in Wright City, OK with Bro. David Rowe officiating.
