Ruth Estelle Roberts, 90, a former resident of Wright City passed from this life Sunday, August 18, 2013 at Brookewood Nursing and Rehab in DeQueen, AR. She was born November 4, 1922 in Albion, TX to parents William and Ola (Madero) Edmonds. Ruth married Clarence Roberts on August 7, 1940 in Clarksville, TX. Ruth was a member of the First Baptist Church in Wright City, OK. She was an avid reader and researcher of genealogy. She enjoyed crocheting, sewing and making homemade gifts for her neighbors and family. She considered family her greatest blessing, especially the little ones. Ruth was a homemaker and had worked as a Poultry Processor with Lane Processing and Tyson Foods. She leaves to cherish her memory her children, Jan Tadlock of Grannis, AR and Paul Roberts and wife Betty Gail, of Wright City,OK; three sisters, Martha Ott, Amarillo, TX, Susie Wilks, Cisco,TX, Mary Miller, Emery, TX; five grandchildren; eleven great- grandchildren; eleven great-great grandchildren; a host of family and friends.
