Ruby Ann Partridge, 85, of Wright City, OK, passed away June 7, 2016, at Paris Regional Medical Center, in Paris, TX. Ruby was born on March 3, 1931, in Holly Creek, OK, to Joe William and Jessie (Young) Goodman. Ruby was a member of the 1st Baptist Church, of Wright City, OK. She enjoyed quilting, fishing, and playing with her kids and grandkids. She loved cooking and feeding people and wanted to make sure you had plenty to eat and drink before you left her home. She also enjoyed working in her garden, canning, tending her rose bushes, and picking blackberries, where she could pick two to everybody elses one. She made the best blackberry cobbler, yeast rolls and everyone loved Granny's hamburgers. Ruby is preceded in death by her parents; husband, James F. Partridge; one brother; and seven sisters. Ruby leaves to cherish her memory her daughters, Linda Sue Partridge, of the home, Annie Davis, and husband, David, of Wright City, OK; sons, Frank Patridge, and wife, Regina, of Wright City, OK, and John Patridge, and wife, Kerry, of Wright City, OK; brothers, James Goodman, of Enid, OK, John Goodman, and wife, Wanda, of Wright City, OK, Ted Goodman, and wife, Ann, of Broken Bow, OK, and Minor Goodman, of Wright City, OK; sister, Mattie Johnson, of Broken Bow, OK; nine grandchildren, Timothy and Nora Davis, Brian and Tammy Davis, Jessica Partridge, Joshua Partridge, Matthew Partridge, Karis Partridge, Daylor Partridge, Kooper Gooding and Mabrie Partridge; six great-grandchildren; several nieces, nephews and a host of friends. A Celebration of Life Service will be held Friday, June 10, 2016, at 2:00 PM, at the 1st Baptist Church, in Wright City, OK. Interment will be at Slater Cemetery, in Wright City, OK.
