Ruby B. Johnson, 84, of Broken Bow, OK passed away June 21, 2014 in DeQueen, AR. She was born January 23, 1930 in Sturvent, MO the daughter of Clinton and Nettie Mae (Arnold) Bess. Ruby was a member of the Broken Bow Church of Christ. She was a homemaker and enjoyed fishing, crochet, cooking, flowers and gardening. Ruby loved her family and loved being with her grandchildren. Ruby leaves to cherish her memory one daughter, Mary Simmons of Atlanta, TX; two sons, Don Johnson and wife, Kathy of Broken Bow and Charles Johnson and wife, Ann of Idabel, OK; four sisters, Lois Pearl Cunnutt of East Alton, IL, Margie Lelea Bridges of Belview, FL, Mary Katherine Webb of East Alton, IL and Norma Ethel Bremercamp of St. Louis, IL; seven grandchildren, Douglas Wayne, Shannon Daniel, Shaunda Denise, Terry and wife, Julie, Stephanie and husband, Anthony, Kenny and Melissa; seventeen great-grandchildren, two great-great-grandchildren, several nieces, nephews and many friends.
