Rev. Ruben Duckett, 79, of Broken Bow, OK passed away November 3, 2014 at his home. He was born November 6, 1934 in McCurtain County, OK the son of Garfield and Edna (Savage) Duckett. Ruben and Oleda Anna were united in marriage April 21, 1978 in Broken Bow, OK. Ruben served his country in the US Air Force. He was affiliated with the Choctaw Baptist Church in Bethel, OK. He enjoyed playing dominos, fishing, reading his Bible and loved going to church. He was an OU Fan. Ruben leaves to cherish his memory wife, Oleda Duckett of the home; his children, Karen Duckett of Chicago, IL, Sterling Duckett and wife, Carol of Saint Cloud, MN, Michelle Pippin, Brian Duckett and wife, Ute all of Broken Bow, OK, Lorraine Edwards and husband, James of Dover, Delaware, Reuben Darnell Duckett, Matthias "MJ" Duckett, Micah Duckett and wife, Ashley, Keenan Duckett and wife, Lakien all of Broken Bow, OK, Jonica Carroll and husband, Joe of Golden, OK; sister, Lillie Broussard of Broken Bow, OK; twenty four grandchildren; a host of great-grandchildren; numerous nieces, nephews, family and friends.
