Roxanna Sue Hamilton, "Roxy", age 69, resident of Idabel died in her home Saturday evening, Sept. 26, 2015, with her family by her side, after a long battle with lung cancer. She was born in Oklahoma City, Okla. on March 25, 1946 to Gladys and the late Howard S. Hamilton, Tulsa. She was a life-long Tulsa resident, a graduate of Nathan Hale High School, and had retired as the bookstore manager at the Lemley campus of Tulsa Technology Center in 2012. Roxy moved to Idabel, Okla. in 2013 to be near her family. She loved her many dogs: Coo Coo, Annie, Molly, Zoe, Broady and Lovey, and a collection of pet cockatiels. She enjoyed true crime tv, was a member of the NRA, and was very talented with crafts, ceramics and crocheting. Hamilton is survived by her mother, Gladys Hamilton; her brother, Hal Hamilton and his wife Nancy, of Corpus Christi, Texas; her daughter and son-in-law, Hallee and Ronald Deramus Jr. of Idabel; her niece and great-nephew Toni and Dillon Jackson of Sapulpa, Okla.; and her grandchildren who knew her as "Grammie"- Ronald "Tra" Deramus III and Laney Deramus.
