Ron Standridge

Ronald Leslie Standridge, age 69, passed away on Friday, November 8, 2024 at the Mena Regional Health System in Mena, Arkansas. He was born on Sunday, May 22, 1955 in Ukiah, California to John Lee and Lula Mae Standridge.

Ron was a joyful soul, known for his happiness, forgiveness, and caring nature that touched everyone he met. He had a love for fishing, often finding peace by the water, and a passion for classic rock that brought back treasured memories. A true friend to many, Ron always made time for his friends, lending a helping hand whenever they needed it and sharing in their joys and challenges. He was a devoted father and grandfather who deeply loved his children, always cherishing family time. Ron lived life fully, embracing every moment as if there were no tomorrow. His comforting presence and boundless kindness will be missed by all who had the privilege to know him.

He is preceded in death by his parents; one brother, Jerry Lynn Standridge; one sister, Darla Jean Standridge.

Ron is survived by three sons, Paul Cuellar of Texas, Adam Sage and Ashley of Texas, David Sage and Mady of Arkansas; four daughters, Bessie Cuellar of Mena, Rebekah Sage of Texas, Leilani Standridge of California, Jennifer Standridge of California; one brother, Robert Standridge of Mena; two sisters, Sarah Weber of Mena, and Brenda Wilson of Cherry Hill; thirty-four grandchildren; one great grandchild, and two on the way; numerous nephews and nieces and a host of other relatives and friends.

Pallbearers will be David Sage, Gary Allen, William Pierce, Dave Handy, Brandon Davasher, John Rendon, James Hopper, and George Menezes.

Honorary pallbearer will be John Aguirre.

A graveside service will be held on Saturday, November 16, 2024 at 2:00 PM at the Hillside Cemetery in Sulphur Springs, Arkansas with Brother Tim Rose officiating under the direction of Bowser Family Funeral Home in Mena, Arkansas. Visitation will be general, Wednesday to Friday, November 13-15, 2024 from 9:00 - 5:00 at the Bowser Family Funeral Home in Mena, Arkansas.
