Rena Mae Noah 91, of Wright City, passed away on December 9, 2009 at her residence. She was born May 29, 1918 in Honey Grove, OK the daughter of Hampton and Lacian (Crosby) Thomas.Rena was a member of the Miracle Tabernacle Church in Idabel. She enjoyed going to church, reading her bible, praying, being with her grandchildren. She also enjoyed shopping and doing puzzle work. She was recently honored by Chief Pyle as Honorary Senior Citizen of the Choctaw Nation.Rena was preceded in death by her parents; her husband Ellis Noah; three daughters and four sons, Ruth Alice Lewis, Hampton Russell Noah, Marvin Noah, Ramona Noah, Johnson Noah, Paul Noah, and Sharon Noah; and a granddaughter, Cynthia Dawn Nahwooksy.She is survived by one son and daughter-in-law, Franklin D. and Sharon Noah of Cushing, OK, one daughter and son-in-law, Rebecca Huttie and Frank Nahwooksy of Wright City, OK; one sister, Eleanor Sue Wallace of Hugo, OK; several grandchildren; great-grandchildren; numerous nieces; nephews; special relatives and friends, Floyd and Kay Choate, Neigal Big Pond and Dr. Jay Swallow; and a host of other family and friends.Funeral services will be held Tuesday, December 15, 2009 at 2:00 PM at the Miracle Tabernacle Church in Idabel, OK with Dr. Jay Swallow and Rev. Moses Jones officiating. Interment will follow at the Goodland Cemetery.A wake service is scheduled for Monday, December 14, 2009 at 6:30 PM at the Miracle Tabernacle Church, 202 S.E.
