Curtis Ray Sullivan, 81, of Eagletown, OK passed away Thursday, June 19, 2014 at his home. He was born March 27, 1933 in Haworth, OK, the son of Jewel Marie (Lawler) and Russell Delbert Sullivan. Ray proudly served in the United States Navy was affiliated with Eagletown Assembly of God. He had lived in McCurtain county all his life. Ray enjoyed fishing, horse racing, telling old stories, riding motorcyles and watching westerns. He loved spending time with his family and having fish fry?s. Ray and Nelda Mae Joiner were married at Liberty County Courthouse on September 5, 1957. Ray was preceded in death by his wife, Nelda Mae (Joiner) Sullivan on June 4, 1983; his parents Jewel Marie (Lawler) and Russell Delbert Sullivan; two brothers, Junior Sullivan and Jerry Sullivan and one son, Lloyd Ray Sullivan. He is survived by one daughter, Sheila Ann Leslie Baldwin of Eagletown, OK; three brothers, Donnie Sullivan and wife, Sharon of Idabel, OK, Dale Sullivan and wife, Lois of Moon, OK and Eddie Sullivan and wife, Jo Carol of Haworth, OK; one aunt, Wanda Williams and husband, Leslie of Broken Bow, OK; two sisters-in-law, Juanita Joiner of Eagletown, OK and Effie Sullivan of Idabel, OK; three grandchildren, MaDonna Roan, Earl Ray Roan and Adam Roan; eight great-grandchildren, Destenie, Breannah, Camara, Justice Ray, Faith, Misten, Eugene and Dustin; one great-great grandchild, Kashton Ray; several nieces and nephews; special friends, Pete Leonard and LaVerne (Hoot) Bates, and a host friends.Cemetery:Denison Cemetery, Idabel, OK \nTo send flowers to the family or plant a tree in memory of Ray Sullivan, please visit our floral store.
