Rachel Shomo Obituary (1934 - 2012)

Rachel Shomo 78 of Broken Bow passed away June 15, 2012 at her home. She was born April 28, 1934 in Broken Bow, OK, the daughter of the late Green and Luanna (Billy) Alemohtubbi. Rachel was a member of Kulli Chito United Methodist Church in Broken Bow. She was a homemaker, enjoyed sewing, baking and spending time with her grandchildren and family. She was preceded by her husband, two brothers, Elus Alemohtubbi and Preston Billy; one sister, Virgie and two grandchildren, Shane Michael Tollison and Mathew Wayne Tollison. Rachel leaves to cherish her memory two sons and daughters-in-law, Glenn and Julie Tollison and Raymond and Angela Tollison all of Broken Bow; one daughter, Janis Anderson of Broken Bow, OK; one sister, Eula Lufkin of Ada, OK; eight grandchildren, Raymond, Jr., Cody, Brandon, Amy, Renea, Porshla, Shawnee, and Angenia; six great grandchildren, Ricky, Isaiah, Breanna, Jessica, Kylie and Gabriella; special friend and cousin, Iris James and a host of other family and friends. Funeral Services are 10 AM Tuesday June 19, 2012 at Kulli Chito United Methodist Church, Broken Bow. Interment will follow at Kulli Chito Cemetery. Brother Stanley Shomo will officiate. The family will receive friends Monday from 6 pm - 8 pm at Brumley Funeral Home Chapel in Broken Bow.Cemetery:Interment will follow at Kulli Chito Cemetery.
