Preston Weldo Ogden, 85, of Broken Bow, OK passed away, Friday, July 4, 2014, in Burleson, TX. He was born November 25, 1928, in Floydada, TX, the son of E.P. and Bessie (Willis) Ogden. Preston, a veteran of the United States Army, was a local mechanic who owned and operated Ogden?s Garage for many years. He was affiliated with Haworth Assembly of God church and enjoyed fishing and camping. Preston loved being a grandfather, great-grandfather and spending time with his children and other family and friends. Preston leaves to cherish his memory his wife of 58 years, Joyce (Wilkenson) Ogden of the home; four sons, David Ogden and wife, Glenda, Kenneth Ogden and wife, Kathy all of Broken Bow, Jimmy Ogden and wife, Melissa of San Angelo, TX and Bruce Ogden and wife, Sheryl of Broken Bow; one brother, Gerald Dean Ogden and wife, Alma of Joshua, TX; ten grandchildren, sixteen great-grandchildren, several nieces, nephews, other relatives and a host of friends.
