Phyllis Kay Smith Obituary (1940 - 2009)

Phyllis was preceded in death by her parents and one sister, Lillian Willingham. Phyllis married Charles Smith in Henderson, NV on August 12, 1957. She was a believer in the Christian Faith and loved the outdoors. She enjoyed cooking, gardening and spending time with family and friends. Phyllis leaves to cherish her memory her husband, Charles Smith of the home; two daughters, Cheryl Smith, Shreveport, LA and Lisa Ortiz and husband Ube, Mineral Springs, AR; two sisters, Wanda 'Sammie' Stephens and Lois Willingham both of Eagletown, OK; four grandchildren, Chris Wright and wife Kim, Eagletown, OK, Kayla Martin and husband John, Center Point, AR, Kolten Ortiz, Mineral Springs, AR and Bert Ortiz and wife Tina, Nashville, AR; six great-grandchildren, Jacee and Kinley Martin, Breanna and Madi Wright, Alberto and Adrian Ortiz and a host of friends. . Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m., Thursday, April 23, 2009, at the Eagletown Gymnasium, Eagletown, OK. Interment will follow at Cerro Gordo Cemetery, Cerro Gordo, AR. Cy Davis will officiate.
