Phyllis Jean Johnson, 67, of Broken Bow, entered her heavenly home on June 25, 2011.The daughter of Harry and Emma (Shuskey) Haupt, she was born February 9, 1944 in Wathena, Kansas. Phyllis and James Buck Johnson were united in marriage on June 18, 1967 in Wathena, Kansas. She and her family moved to this community in 1982 and she had been a faithful member of the Community Baptist Church. Phyllis was a blessing to all who knew her. She loved her children very much and there were times she did without to make sure that they had the things they needed. When she wasnt visiting with her family or friends she enjoyed things such as embroidery and word search puzzles.Phyllis was preceded in death by her parents; her beloved husband, James; and one sister, Alamay Haupt.She leaves to cherish her memory her two children, Sonny Johnson and his wife, Barbara of Sherwood, OK, Janice Long and her husband, Raymond of Clarksville, TX; one sister, Betty Lou Hull of Braymer, MO; six grandchildren, Kody Johnson, Marissa Johnson, Levi Long, Kaylona Long, Kelsey Reed and Josie Ward; her cat Penny many nieces, nephews and friends.Cemetery:Interment will be held at Bethel Cemetery.Service:Funeral services will be held at 4:00 p.m., Sunday, June 26, 2011 at the Community Baptist Church with Rev.
