Pearl Shrabel, 90 formerly of Brewster, WA, passed away Friday, June 04, 2010 at the McCurtain Manor Nursing Home in Broken Bow. She was born March 12, 1920 in Fallsville, AR to parents, Mose and Margaret (Melvina) Wages. Pearl was a dietician for many years with the Brewster School District and also worked as an aide for a nursing home until she retired. She moved to Broken Bow in September, 2002 to reside with her sister, Iva until Ivas passing. Pearl enjoyed watching professional baseball, cooking, fishing, especially ice fishing, gardening and spending time with friends and family. She is preceded in death by her parents; her four siblings, Lillie, Girtie, Virgil, and Iva; and one son, Rudy Jones. She is survived by numerous nieces and nephews in Arkansas, Oklahoma, Washington and Oregon; a special friend, Jamie; and many other relatives and friends. Graveside services are scheduled for 3:00 p.m., Sunday, June 6, 2010 at the Rock Hill Cemetery with Rev. Kenneth Ogden officiating.
