Pearl Francis McClinton, 82, of Broken Bow, passed away Friday, July 13, 2007, at Broken Bow Nursing Home. She was born September 28, 1924, in Broken Bow, the daughter of Burl and Annie Mae (Freeman) Pennington.Pearl was a member of Springs of Light Church in Glover. She enjoyed reading, helping others, baby sitting children and loved roses.She was preceded in death by her parents, Burl and Annie Mae Pennington; husband, Leon 'Bud' McClinton; one daughter, Barbara Leon Kennedy; six brothers, J.D. Pennington, Glen Pennington, Jerry Pennington, Rusty Pennington, Leslie Pennington and Chesley Pennington; two sisters, Edna Mae Pennington and Irene Middaugh; two great granddaughters, Amber Dawn Wells and Ashley Diane Hughes.Pearl leaves to cherish her memory three daughters and sons-in-law, June and Don Batchelor, Glover Community Ginger and Billy Johnson, Holly Creek Community, Glenda and Leon Hughes, Broken Bow; two brothers, Edmond Gee Pennington, Arkansas, Lemuel Earl Pennington, Glenwood, AR.; twelve grandchildren; twenty-two great grandchildren; two great, great grandchildren; several nieces, nephews, friends, and Lemuel Richard whom she loved like a son.Services will be held at 10:00 a.m., Monday, July 16, 2007, at Springs of Light Church, Glover Community. Bro. Don Batchelor and Bro. Leon Hughes will officiate.
