Pattie Harwell Obituary (1931 - 2022)

Pattie Lou Harwell, 90, of Valliant, Oklahoma died on Wednesday, July 20, 2022 at the Broken Bow Health and Rehab in Broken Bow, Oklahoma. She was born on Friday, September 18, 1931 to Frank and Mary Magdalene Wisener Kendrick in Broken Bow, Oklahoma. Pattie was a woman that loved God, her family and her church. She was a member of the Oak Hill Assembly of God. Pattie was a loving mother, grandmother, aunt and friend and will be missed by all those who loved and knew her. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Ralph Harwell; one son, Joe Harwell; her brothers Arlie, Noel, Kenneth, Carl, Floyd, Jerry and Kelly Kendrick. Sisters, Ruby Short, Edith Derryberry, Sue McKenna and Rosalie Sandridge. Pattie is survived by daughters and sons-in-law, Brenda and Bill Pate of Valliant, Oklahoma and Kerry and Harley Thomas Sr. of Broken Bow, Oklahoma, daughnter-in-law Toni Harwell Sonnier of Many, Louisana; eight grandchildren, Kelly Loper (Chad) of Wister, Oklahoma, Lisa Newbrough (Scott) of Skiatook, Oklahoma, Sarah James of Nash, Texas, Amanda James(Neil) of Many, Louisiana, Phillip Harwell of Many, Louisiana, Harley Thomas Jr. (Kim) of Broken Bow, Oklahoma, Richard Thomas of Fort Smith, Arkansas and Matthew Thomas (Amber) of Reno, Texas; fourteen great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews and a host of other relatives and friends. A memorial service will be held at a later date with cremation arrangements entrusted to Bowser Family Funeral Home in Broken Bow, Oklahoma.
