Olnie L. "O.L" Childs, 83, of Idabel, OK, passed away November 28, 2014, at Reunion Plaza, in Texarkana, TX. He was born July 16, 1931, to Olnie L. Childs, Sr. and Elsa (Hobson) Childs. O.L. and Joyce Marlene Warren were united in marriage on November 20, 1955, in Mena, AR. O.L. was a member of the Redland United Methodist Church. He loved to hunt, fish, being outdoors, traveling, the Dallas Cowboys, and watching westerns. O.L. leaves to cherish his memory, his wife, Joyce Childs, of the home; his sister, Wanda Barton, of Mena, AR; his nieces, Sue Tallant, of Winthrop, AR, Tamra Seiler, of Texarkana, TX, Robin Barton, of Benton, AR, and Karla Sims, of Mena, AR; his nephews, Darrell Barton, of Cary, N.C. and Lowell Nichols, of Smithville, OK; along with several great nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death his parents and one brother, J.C. Childs.Cemetery:Interment will follow in the Pleasant Hill Cemetery, Hatfield, AR.
