Nina Flora (nee Sossamon) Neumann, 95, of Broken Bow, passed away on Friday, December 11, 2009 at McCurtain Manor Nursing Home in Broken Bow. Nina was born 10 September 1914 at Winthrop, AR, the daughter of Joseph Frank and Carrie Estelle (Key) Sossamon.\\r\\n \\r\\nNina was of the Baptist faith. She was a homemaker and enjoyed gardening, quilting, sewing and cooking.\\r\\n \\r\\nNina and Robert Jacob Neumann were married on 12 April 1936 in Galveston, Texas.\\r\\n \\r\\nNina was preceded in death by her husband, Robert Jacob Neumann on 23 June 1999; her parents, Frank and Carrie Sossamon; one brother, Virgil Sossamon; three sisters, Evie Sikes, Cassie Blankenship and Fannie Fagg.\\r\\n \\r\\nNina is survived by one son and daughter-in-law, Dwayne and Theresa Neumann of Broken Bow; two grandchildren, Chris and Cindy Neumann of Amarillo, Texas; Kim Morgan of Broken Bow; four great-grandchildren, Chauncy Tipton, Skylar Morgan, Mahala and Jacob Neumann; one sister and brother-in-law, Verna and James Failes of Broken Bow, and a very special great niece, Sharon Bristow and her children, and a number of other nieces and nephews.\\r\\n \\r\\nFuneral services will be held at 2:00 P.M. on Monday, 14 December 2009 at the Brumley Funeral Home Chapel with Clark Wrather, Pastor of First Baptist Church officiating.
