Nina (McCain) Cress, 96, of Hochatown, OK passed away January 24, 2013 at her home in Hochatown. She was born December 23, 1916 in Redland, OK, the daughter of Newt and Nora (Farley) McCain. She was preceded in death by her parents, six brothers, Jimmy, Gus, Bob, Lawrence, Cotton and Rufus; four sisters, Novella, Lillian, Martha and Imogene; two sons, John and Michael; one daughter, Brenda; two grandchildren, Brenda Camp and Jammie Camp and one great-grandson, Michael Cody. Dolf Cress and Nina (McCain) were married in DeQueen, AR in May of 1939 and shared seventy years together. She was a graduate of Broken Bow High School in 1938. Nina was a member of Broken Bow Church of Christ. She enjoyed sewing, cross word puzzles and was a great cook. She loved spending time with her family and friends and looked forward to special family gatherings. Nina is survived by her husband, Dolf Cress of the home; one daughter, Linda Camp and husband, James of Smithville, OK; three grandchildren, Vickie Perrin and husband, Kevin and Rita Payton and husband, Blair and Tracy Batchelor; four great-grandchildren, John and wife, Sarah, Kyree, Morgan and Michael; five great-great-grandchildren, Brendly, Jagger, Kolbie, Rylan, and Remlee; three special friends, Little Bit, Jana and Opal; a host of other relatives and friends.Cemetery:Crown Hill Cemetery, Broken Bow, OK \nTo send flowers to the family or plant a tree in memory of Nina (McCain) Cress, please visit our floral store.
