Mitchell Bunn Obituary (1948 - 2017)

Mitchell Ray "Mickey" Bunn born May 27, 1948 in Holly Creek, OK and went home on May 10, 2017 in Texarkana, TX. He was born to Milford Troy Bunn and Mary Bell McHargue. Mickey was retired from the Weyerhaeuser Merchandiser of Wright City. He spent his time carpentering, deer hunting and helping his fav-sister-in-law Reba. He enjoyed old westerns and gardening. His last days were spent at Hospice of Texarkana with family. He was preceded in death by his parents; a daughter, Susan Meredith Pieratt and a brother, Raymond "Billy" Bunn. Mickey is survived by his wife, Sherion Slaton Bunn of the home; one son, Clayton Ray Bunn and Tammy Bunn of Wright City, OK; two sisters, Betty Jean of Holly Creek an Ruthie of DeQueen, AR; one brother, James "Buddy" of Holly Creek, OK; grandchildren, Michelle Bunn of Wright City, OK and McKayla Pieratt of Lukfata; God-daughter, Stephanie Harding; along with numerous nieces, nephews and extended family including his stolen dog, "Oreo". A Celebration of Life Graveside Service will be held at 10:00 a.m. Friday, May 12, 2017 at Slater Memorial Cemetery, Wright City, OK with Stephanie Jane Harding officiating. Visitation will be held from 6-8 this evening, Thursday, May 11, 2017 at Brumley Funeral Home, Broken Bow, OK.
