Marie Kitty Harrington, 90 of Broken Bow, passed away, Saturday July, 10 at the Paris Regional Hospital in Paris, Texas. She was born March 8, 1920 in Doddridge, Arkansas, the daughter of Charles and Mary (Sartor) Bailey. Marie graduated from Bright Star High School in Bright Star, Texas. She was a member of the First Presbyterian Church in Broken Bow and past member of the V.F.W. Auxiliary. She moved to Broken Bow in 1945. Marie was preceded in death by her husband of 59 years, L.W. Woody Harrington; four brothers, Orben, Obie, Rip and Buster Bailey; two sisters, Odell Roberts, and Iolene Gauldin. Marie leaves to cherish her memory, her daughter Judy and husband Ray Hall; grandson Jeff and wife Keanan Hall, of Keller, Texas, two great-grandchildren, Kylie Hall and Caleb Matthews and special nephew Jim Bailey; three sisters, Orene Yancy of Norman, Okla., Bernice and husband Huey Bazar of Lone Star, TX, Ouida Branch of Memphis, TN; and a host of Bailey and Harrington relatives she was close to. Maries greatest joy was her own family and extended family. She was always available to help anytime she was needed and many of her nieces and nephews enjoyed spending time with her.
