Lucille Janie Nelson, 91, of Broken Bow, OK passed away April 9, 2014 at her home in Broken Bow, OK. She was born August 11, 1922 in Alichi, OK the daughter of Henry Jefferson and Nora Mae (Odon) Walthall. Lucille was a member of the First Baptist Church in Broken Bow, OK. She was employed at Broken Bow School cafeteria for several years, she also worked with the food committee at First Baptist Church and as an Election worker. She enjoyed playing dominoes at senior citizens, gardening and taking care of her flowers. She cherished her time spent with family and loved all of the family gatherings. Lucille leaves to cherish her memory her five daughters, Linda Singleton of Terrell, TX, Shirley Lavoie of Ft. Worth, TX, Alice Boulton of Broken Bow, OK, Ava Doss and husband, Jim of Broken Arrow, OK and Janie Nelson of Terrell, TX; one brother, J.W. Walthall of Krum, TX; ten grandchildren, Carla Rice, Anita Kobza, Chuck Singleton, Kendall Doan, Debbie Pool, Monty, Mitchell and Michael Musgrove, Stacy Medlin and Jason Doss; sixteen great-grandchildren; three great-great-grandchildren; special friend, Nona Towery; a host of nieces, nephews and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Avery Nelson; brother, J.V.
