(Louise) "Virginia" Anderson Still was born September 7th, 1915 in Fort Worth, Texas to Hugh and Julia (Morgan) Anderson. She lived in Waco, Texas until she was nine. Her growing up years were spent in Denison, Texas. She entered into rest with her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ on July 30, 2016, just short of her 101st birthday and just short of living 80 years in the small community of Wright City, Oklahoma where she came to teach school after graduating from Southeastern State College in Durant, Oklahoma. She met and married the young Postmaster, U.H. "Butch" Still on August 15, 1936, Together they had four children, Thomas Hughes (stillborn), David, Gary, and Mary. She and Butch were married for 52 years, until Butch went to be with the Lord on November 2, 1989. On June 15, 1991, she married Edgar Still, Butch's widowed brother. They were married for 20 years, until Edgar went to be with the Lord on September 27, 2011. Virginia was involved in many activities and organizations, including the Wright City First Baptist Church, Women's Missionary Union, Daughters of the American Revolution, and Eastern Star. She is survived by her children, David and his wife Mary Lou of Portland, Oregon, Gary and his wife Linda of Broken Bow, Oklahoma, and Mary and her husband Dave Haug of Livingston, Montana. She is also survived by Edgar's children, Bruce and his wife Laura of Lee's Summit, Missouri, Ed ("Bill") and his wife Debbie of The Woodlands, Texas, and Terri and her husband Mike Sisson of Arlington, Texas. She is survived by eleven grandchildren, Tasha and her husband Bryon Allen of Portland, Oregon, Meagan Still of Yukon, Oklahoma, Kali and her husband James Funderburk of Yukon, Oklahoma, Eric Haug and his wife Katie of Cary, North Carolina, Kristen Haug of San Francisco, California, Heather Haug of Lynnwood, Washington, Patricia and her husband Erik Domanski of Bryan, Texas, Adam Still and his wife Lesley of Boise, Idaho, Alex Still of San Francisco, California, Andrew Sisson of Honolulu, Hawaii, and Hailey Sisson of Dallas, Texas. She is also survived by seven great-grandchildren, Anna and Ryan Allen, Jonathan and Jaina Funderburk, and Katelyn, Hannah, and Peter Haug, and many more family members and friends.
