Allen Williams, 65, of Pickens passed away Saturday March 5, 2011 at OU Medical Center in Oklahoma City. Allen was born on April 10, 1945 in Pickens, OK, the son of Osby B. and Elicie (Noah) Williams. He had been a member of this community all of his life and was of the Christian faith. Allen was a veteran of the US Army and served his country during the Vietnam War. He was an employee of Weyerhaeusers logging crew for over thirty years and then worked for nine years at the plywood and hardwood mill in Wright City. Allen enjoyed reading his Bible, fishing, camping, gardening, working crossword puzzles, watching OU football and NY Yankees baseball. Most of all, he enjoyed being a grandpa and will be greatly missed by his family and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents; one infant daughter, Marsha Williams; one grandson, Zackery Johnson; three siblings, Eli Williams, Emaline Williams and Myrtle Samis. Allen leaves to cherish his memory six daughters, Kimberly Johnson and husband, Jack, of Wright City, Marcia Williams of Pickens, Jennifer Williams of Idabel, Chenoa Williams of Idabel, Randi Williams of Idabel, Courtney Williams of Broken Bow; two brothers, Thomas Williams and wife, Carol of Broken Bow, Leroy Williams and wife, Connie of Honobia, OK; two sisters, Rosa Lee Senior of Smithville, Audrey Williams of Broken Bow; four grandchildren, Heartly Johnson, Ciarra Johnson, Adrianna Williams and Mason-Battiest-Williams; special niece and nephew, Becky Williams and Joshua Williams; numerous other nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.Cemetery:County Line CemeteryVisitation:6:00p.m. - 8:00 p.m. Thursday, Brumley Funeral HomeService:2:00 p.m., Friday, March 11, 2011 at the Battiest Schools Cafetorium \nTo send flowers to the family or plant a tree in memory of Louis A.
