Lisa Roberts

Lisa Warrene Roberts, 60, of Broken Bow, Oklahoma died Wednesday May 4, 2022 at the McCurtain Memorial Hospital in Idabel, Oklahoma. She was born on Saturday, July 15, 1961 to David Warren and Lena Helen Jacob Impson in Dallas, Texas.

Lisa was a proud Choctaw woman and loved her family and supported them in all aspects of their lives. She enjoyed going to all the grandchildren's school activities, such as band recitals, going to all their sporting events and so much more. Lisa loved her pets as well, listening to oldies music and Choctaw hymns, cheering for the OU Sooners and the Dallas Cowboys. Lisa worked over 30 years for the Choctaw Nation as a Transit Driver and before that worked at the Choctaw Nation Headstart. Lisa was a loving mother, grandmother, great grandmother, sister, aunt, and friend and will be missed and loved by all who knew her.

Lisa was preceded in death by her parents, Reverend David and Helen Impson; her husband, Marvin Roberts; two brothers, Stephen Impson and David Impson; and one sister, Marcia Impson.

Lisa is survived by her sons, Ramsey Williston, Keith Williston and Max Williston all of Broken Bow, Oklahoma; her daughter and son in law, Amy and Jerome Williams of Broken Bow, Oklahoma; one brother, Dennis Impson of Wright City, Oklahoma; one sister and brother in law, Marie and Isaac Battiest Jr. of Broken Bow, Oklahoma; ten grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews and a host of other relatives and friends.

Funeral service will be held Friday, May 6, 2022 at 2:00 P.M. at the Bowser Family Funeral Home Chapel with Brother Isaac Battiest Jr. officiating. Cremation will follow the funeral service. Arrangements are entrusted to Bowser Family Funeral Home in Broken Bow, Oklahoma.
