Leroy Cress

Robert Leroy Cress, 87, of Broken Bow, OK passed away November 19, 2014 at Broken Bow Health and Rehab. He was born March 23, 1927 in Broken Bow, OK the son of Joseph and Ida (Oehler) Cress. Leroy married Fay (Carr) Cress on January 3, 1953. Fay preceded Leroy in death on February 14, 2010. He is also preceded in death by his parents. Leroy served his country in the United States Marines during WWII. He worked as a journeyman for 35 years in construction as a pipe fitter. Leroy also enjoyed farming, working livestock, gardening and lawn care. He leaves to cherish his memory, two sons, Foy Joe Cress and wife, Donna of Lynn Haven, FL and Robert Cress of Hochatown, OK; one daughter, Janet Cress of Hochatown; two grandsons, Bradley (Jo) Clevenger of Houston, TX and Carrie Cress of Lynn Haven, FL; one great-granddaughter, Julia Cress of Lynn Haven, FL; one brother, Dolf Cress of Hochatown, OK; several cousins, nieces, nephews and many friends.
