Laura Bell Bascle 66, of Broken Bow passed away Wednesday, May 2, 2012, at Medical City of Dallas, Dallas, TX. She was born September 21, 1945 in Idabel, OK, the daughter of William Story and Pearl Story Martin. Laura married Roland "Tony" Bascle on November 9, 1963. She loved spending time with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents and husband, Roland "Tony" Bascle; two brothers, Richard Wilson and Shelby Story and life partner, Edward "Hap" Booth. Laura leaves to cherish her memory one son and daughter-in-law, Roland and Mary Lou Bascle; one daughter and son-in-law, Stormey and Kenneth Taylor all of Broken Bow; grandchildren, Chris and Sandy Powers, Brittany and Roy Glen Boyd, Tony Bascle, Amber Taylor and Jason Fusco, and Toni Brooke Taylor; great-grandchildren, Shayla Powers, Banks Powers, Kendall Boyd and Kaitlyn Boyd all of Broken Bow; two sisters, Betty Cole of Antlers, OK, Martha and husband, Kay Kyzar of Paris, TX; two brothers, Willie Story of Broken Bow, Ervin Wilson and wife, Lilly of Broken Bow; two sisters-in-law, Pauline Wilson and Lois Story and a host of nieces, nephews and several special friends. Graveside services will be held Saturday, May 5, 2012 at 2:00 p.m. at Broken Bow Cemetery, Broken Bow, OK. Bro. Don Batchelor will officiate.
