Kenneth (Bo) Stanton Joiner, Sr., age 82, went to be with the Lord on Sunday, January 10, 2016, at his home, in Eagletown, OK. He was born on February 10, 1933, at his home, to Cecil and Josie Joiner. Bo married his soul mate, Judy Lynne Quantrell, on December 1, 1956, in Reno, NV. He was a member of the Eagletown Assembly of God Church. He was extremely patriotic and proudly served his country in the United States Army, in Germany. He enjoyed working at Blue Lake, California, in a lumber mill as a planer from 1956-1972. He moved to Eagletown in 1972 where he logged and worked cattle until retiring. He loved his family, children, and babies. He also enjoyed drinking coffee at Lori's Corner Store and Deli, buying the kids whatever they wanted, and telling great stories. Another passion of his was working at the Eagletown Cemetery, where he organized "Bo's Rocking Rake Crew' and was a big part of the new senior citizens building. He was often referred to as the Top Mayor of Eagletown. Bo was never late, maybe even early, but never late. He was preceded in death by his parents; son, Bryan Joiner; daughter-in-law, Kelley Pinckard; brothers, Bitty Son, Ricky, and Travis; and sisters, Bonnie and Betty Joe. He leaves to cherish his memory his wife, Judy, of the home; son, Kenny Joiner, and wife, Judy; daughter, Debby Joiner; and son, Travis Joiner; grandchildren, April Joiner, John Banks, Kendra Joiner, T-Ray Dunn, LaChanna Hall, and husband, Alan, Kayla Joiner, and Cody Demint, and Zane Joiner, all of Eagletown; great grandchildren, Krystal McClendon, Breannah Banks, Tyler Dunn, Klayton Dunn, Kennedee Brittain, Bailey Hall, and Kayzlea Lofland; brother, Paul Roy Joiner, and wife, Helen; sisters, LaVerne (Hoot) Bates, Geraldine Blankenship, Mary Helen Morris, and husband, Jackie, Donnie Smith, Linda Reed, Judy Ross, and husband, Rex; sister-in-laws, Edna Joiner and Carol Quantrell; brother-in-laws, Don Quantrell, Phil Quantrell, and wife, Kathy; special life long friend, Richard Henry; nieces, nephews, and other relatives and many friends. A Celebration of Life Service will be held Friday, January 15, 2016, at the Eagletown Gymnasium, at 10:00 AM, with Rev. Jimmy Townsend, Rev. Larry Morris, Rev. Melvin Baker, and Lewis Lee Prewitt officiating. Interment will follow at the Eagletown Cemetery.
