Kelsie Smalling Obituary (1933

Kelsie K.E. Smalling, 76 of Pickens, passed away Saturday, February 20, 2010 at his home. He was born March 1, 1933 in Lodi, AR the son of Marion and Elvia Smalling. K.E. was a member of the Pickens Assembly of God. He loved to coon hunt, fish, and be outdoors. In his later years he enjoyed spending time with his grandchildren and great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents, Marion and Elvia Smalling; his wife, Chattie, a daughter-in-law, Nelta Smalling; four brothers, Howard, Marvin, Gene, and Gerald Smalling; three sisters, Charlene Parker, Clara Price, and Goldie Kersey. K.E. is survived by one son, Don Smalling and Rachel Ward of Pickens; one daughter and son-in-law, Cheryl and Jerry Snider of Eagletown; grandchildren and their spouses, Carrie and Mark Duren, Kevin and Lory Smalling, Shawna and Lee Evans, and Ashley Smalling; a brother and sister-in-law, Clyde and Joyce Smalling of Grants Pass, OR; sisters and brother-in-law, Helen and Richard Yarbrough of Kats, TX, Shirley Jeweks, of Hawkins, TX; four great-grandchildren, Randon Duren, Koty and Kelby Evans, and Kasen Smalling. Funeral Services will be held 2:00 p.m. Wednesday, February 24, 2010 at the Pickens Assembly of God with Bro. Larry Morris, Bro. Gary Furr, Bro. Roger Myers officiating. Interment will follow in the County Line Cemetery.
