Kay Brown of Battiest, OK passed away September 8, 2014 at the age of 60, after a lengthy battle with cancer with family by her side. She was born February 11, 1954 in Arcata California the daughter of Melvin McDonald and Sue Burdette. Kay moved to Oklahoma in her senior year of High School where she met the love of her life Bobby Brown. They were united in marriage on April 7, 1972.Together they opened Brown?s Hardware in Broken Bow and operated it for twenty five years before retiring to Battiest. Kay loved spending time with family and friends. She especially enjoyed the time spent camping at the lake, days of fishing and the time she spent at deer and turkey camp. She leaves cherish her memory husband, Bobby Brown of the home; children, Rex Brown of Broken Bow, OK; Christie Hull and husband, Dennis of Caddo,OK; grandchildren, Kali Brown of Texas, Savana Brown and Kelsie Brown both of Broken Bow, OK, Cameron, Cason and Cadie Hull all of Caddo, OK: sisters, Nedra Hyatt and husband, David of Fayetteville, AR, Judy Clarke and husband, Gary of Eureka Springs, AR; brother, John McDonald and wife Diana of Sulphur Springs, TX; special friends, Tina and J.L.
