Juanita Cheek, 85, passed away November 22, 2015, in Ft. Smith, AR. She was born March 16, 1930, the daughter of Lon and Bessie (Simpson) Foster Juanita enjoyed cooking, sewing, working in her garden and her flowers. She cherished raising her children and spending time with her family. Juanita is survived by her son, Larry Cheek, of Battiest, OK; daughters, Kay and Darrell Stowe, of Rogers, AR, and Vickie King of Purcell, OK; sister, Nowena Walker and husband, Jack, of Ft. Smith, AR; five grandchildren, Julie, Melissa, Terry, Tonya and Derek; nine great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews, along with a host of many friends. She was preceded in death by her husband, Earl "Buddy" Cheek; mother and father, Bessie and Lon Foster; and grandson, Kyle King. A Celebration of Life Service will be held Friday, November 27, 2015, at 11:00 A.M., at Bethel Baptist Church, Bethel, OK, with interment to follow at Bethel Cemetery. Rev.
