Josh Vaughn Obituary (1992

Josh Vaughn, age 21, of Watson, Oklahoma, died Sunday, June 2, 2013 at the Mena Regional Health System. He was born on Tuesday, January 14, 1992 to Glen David and Penny LeeAnn Holley Vaughn in Mena, Arkansas. Josh graduated from Mena High School in 2010 and while he was there he was a member of the Future Farmers of America where he showed his sheep and pigs at the local county fair. Also, Josh played in the Mena High School Marching Band where he played the trumpet. Josh loved music and played a bass guitar in the Mena High School Jazz Band. Josh loved hanging out with his friends and enjoyed fast cars, hunting, riding 4-wheelers and dirt bikes. Josh was a member of the Hatfield Baptist Church. He was loved by everyone and he loved everyone. He was a loving son, brother, grandson, uncle, nephew and friend and will be missed by all who knew him. Josh is preceded in death by his maternal grandfather, Bill Holley. Survivors include his parents, Glen and Penny Vaughn of Watson Oklahoma; his sister and brother in law, Stacy and Jay McLemore of Watson; his niece and nephew, Skye and Ty McLemore of Watson; paternal grandfather, Donald Vaughn of Cove; his aunts and uncles, Ronnie and Norma Vaughn of Cove and their sons, Kyle and Kody Vaughn, Peggy and Jeff Lindsey of Stansbury Park, Utah and Gina and Tom Safford of Antlers, Oklahoma, Brian and wife Joey Holley of Ponca City, Oklahoma; special friends, Michael Howard and Samantha Meeks; and a host of other relatives and friends. Funeral services will be Thursday, June 6, 2013 at 2:00 P.M. at the Bowser Family Funeral Home Chapel with Brother Barry Godwin and Brother Scott ORear officiating. Interment will follow in the Pleasant Grove Cemetery in Cove. Visitation will be Wednesday, June 5, 2013 from 6-8 P.M. at the Bowser Family Funeral Home Chapel in Mena. Pallbearers will be Kyle Vaughn, Jay McLemore, Jared McLemore, Michael Howard, John Beavers and Tyler Smedley. Honorary Pallbearers will be Tyler Denton, Cody Williams and Kody Vaughn.
