Jetta Mae Strain, 88 of Broken Bow, OK passed away Saturday, July 19, 2014 at her home in Broken Bow. She was born May 21, 1926 in Tom, OK, the daughter of Herman and May (Sehon) Trammell. Jetta Mae was a member of the First United Methodist Church in Broken Bow. She loved to read her bible, camp, travel, paint, bird watch, gardening and cook outs with family and friends. Jetta Mae loved chaperoning band trips. She was involved in many things, including the administrative board for the new church, J.C. Janes, WSCS, teaching Sunday School, Girl Scout leader, Boy Scouts and Cub Scouts. Jetta Mae was a loving mother and loved her family and friends. She leaves to cherish her memory, son, Gary Strain and wife, Linda of Kemp, TX; daughter, Nita Payne of Broken Bow; daughter-in-law, Mary Strain of Broken Bow; six grandchildren, twelve great-grandchildren, numerous nieces, nephews and a host of friends.
