Jerry Don Hurlocker, Sr.,69, of Haworth, passed away October 17, 2015 at his home. He was born June 13, 1946 at Chandler, Arizona to Ollie S. and Freda Goodin Hurlocker. Jerry and Mary Hurlocker were united in married November 16, 1975 in Mena, Arkansas. They had lived in Haworth for 8 months, coming from DeQueen, Arkansas. Jerry was a retired log truck driver. He enjoyed spending time with his friends and family, especially his grandkids. He loved to watch westerns and relax listening to bluegrass music on Sundays. He liked to fish and "cook out" for his family. He loved dancing. Jerry leaves to cherish his memory his wife, Mary Hurlocker of the home; son, Jay Hurlocker of Haworth; daughter and son-in-law, Roberta and William Barber of Haworth; sisters, Linda East of Moore, Oklahoma, Barbara Darcy of Porum, Oklahoma and Betty Hutchins of Westfork, Arkansas; 3 granddaughters, Taryn Hurlocker, expecting baby boy, James Brown, and Kelsey Cook and McKayla Cook; numerous nieces, nephews, other relative and a host of friends. He was preceded in death by his parents; son, Ollie Wayne Hurlocker; grandson, Kalob Chance Cook; brothers, Donald Hurlocker and Sylvester Ollie Hurlocker; A celebration of life service will be held at 2:00 p.m. Thursday, October 22, 2015 at the Buffalo Presbyterian Cemetery with Bro. Nathan Watson officiating. Interment will follow. Family will receive friends Wednesday, October 21, 2015 from 5-7 PM on at Brumley Funeral Home.
