Jasper served in US Navy, Company 55-507 and toured overseas. He was a Christian and retired from the railroad. He enjoyed fishing, hunting, and spending time with his family. Jasper married Evelyn Byrum on January 23, 1970 in Texarkana, TX.He was preceded in death by his parents, brothers, Cecil, Alvie, William and Melvin Tidmore, six sisters, Lottie Wilson, Bonnie Courier, Nellie Bruno, Jean Goodwin, Zelma Tucker and Lillian Hatcher.Jasper is survived by his wife, Evelyn Byrum Tidmore, Wright City, OK; three daughters and a son-in-law, Carolyn Gore, Wright City, OK, Patricia Stanford, Broken Bow, OK and Teresa Walker and husband, Bruce, Broken Bow, OK; one son, Marvin Tidmore, Wright City, OK; four grandsons and granddaughters-in-law, SGT Robby Spanke and wife, Gina, Killeen, TX, SPC Kirt Autrey and wife, Tia, Tacoma, WA (currently serving in Iraq) Patrick Autrey, Broken Bow, OK, Bobby Walker, Broken Bow, OK; one granddaughter, Brittany Walker, Broken Bow, OK and one great-granddaughter Emmalee Spanke, Killeen, TX; nine brothers, Arvin Tidmore, CA, Cecil Albert Tidmore, OK, Bobby Joe Tidmore, OK, Newton Odell Tidmore, OK, James Wilburn Tidmore, TX, Olin Wesley Tidmore, OK, Elvis Tidmore, Walter Thomas 'Cotton' Tidmore and Carl Tidmore all of Valliant, OK; one brother-in-law, Joe Bruno, TX; several nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.Funeral services will be at 10:00 A.M., Thursday February 19, 2009 at Brumley Funeral Home, Broken Bow. Interment will follow at Holly Creek Cemetery. Bro.
