J.W. was a veteran who served our country in the United States Army during the Korean Conflict. He served as Deputy Sherrif in Wright City in the early 60's. He liked hunting, fishing, gardening, and playing music. He was known as 'Guitar Man'. He loved spending time with his family and friends.He was preceded in death by his wife, Beatrice Packwood; son, Bruce Wayne Packwood; parents, James and Leona Mae Packwood; and sisters, Helen Fisher, Bonnie Fricks, Bessie Oliver, and Doris Packwood.J.W. leaves to cherish his memory his sons, Brian Packwood and wife Natalie, Delta, AL, James Packwood and wife Cathey, Buckeye, AZ, Joe Packwood and wife Diane, Avondale, AZ, and Mike Walker and wife Kaye, Houston, TX; daughter, Susan Citty and husband Lyndel, Broken Bow; brother, Bill Packwood, Holly Creek, OK; sisters, Hazel Chumley, Hollis, OK, and Ramona Bean, Glover, OK; nineteen grandchildren; twenty-four great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews and a host of friends.Graveside services will be 2:00 p.m., Monday, July 3, 2006 at Glover Cemetery, Glover, OK. Rev.
