James Edward Leonard, age 72, left this earth on Thursday, May 30, 2013. Edward was born in Eagletown, OK on January 3, 1941. He lived in Eagletown his entire life. He was a retired business owner of Mudline Auto Parts. He enjoyed woodwork, camping, hunting and fishing with family and friends. He was a 41 year member of Broken Bow Masonic Lodge and was affiliated with the Eagletown United Methodist Church. He and Janice were married February 2, 1959 in Hugo, OK. He was preceded in death by his parents, Jack and Irene Leonard; brother, David Leonard; and a son, Rodney Leonard. He leaves to cherish his memory his wife, Janice Leonard, of the home; son, Russell Leonard, Eagletown, OK; a nephew who was just like a son, Shane Leonard, Braggs, OK; two daughters, Christie and husband Gary Branson, Gail and husband Bruce Hopson, all of Eagletown, OK; one brother, Ronnie Leonard, Ore City, TX; two sisters, Carol and husband Dale Carlyle, DeQueen, AR, Jackie McKee, Cerro Gordo, AR; two uncles, Pete Leonard and Harvey Wylie; eleven grandkids; ten great-grandkids; a host of brothers-in-law; sisters-in-law; nieces; nephews; cousins and friends.Cemetery:Eagletown Cemetery, Eagletown, OK \nTo send flowers to the family or plant a tree in memory of James Edward Leonard, please visit our floral store.
